*Elsewhere, Ryu could be seen in the mess hall sitting down and eating a cookie, or at least trying to. He would squint everytime he bit the cookie, because it just wasn't that tasty enough. It felt bland, just like he was. Ryu looked melancholy while eating. Battling the A-LAWS was his first mission after a long while, but it turned out to be a depressing victory.

Well, even though we beat the aerogaters and calmed ZAFT, the world is always still in danger.

Yeah yeah I know. The Memento Mori incident was my first mission after a while, and it's just...I wish we did better!

Well... it was pretty bad. No one knew about the second Memento Mori, so it's hard to blame anyone for screwing up, but with better planning it may have been avoidable.

Even then, destroying it saved countless lives, and people are taking a much more critical look at A-LAWS.

Destroying lives must be prevented. I won't forgive them for doing this, for making such a weapon, for terrorizing the elevator and blaming it on others.
